This is about the question I just asked? Mintchip?
NYC is pretty safe. Of course as with any city, there are areas to avoid. You would have to really look into what Pace offers as a dance minor. You will still not have a lot of time to take extra dance classes. College is very demanding. especially if you are taking a major and a minor. It is important to not only get some business education because a dance studio is a business, you should make sure you get training on how to teach dance. That includes learning about how the muscles in the body work in dance and you need to know about injury prevention. Open classes at BDC and Peridance. will not be the same as taking classes on a permanent basis. Often they don't give corrections to drop in students. Also, are you sure your classes wouldn't be in their Westchester campus? Check out what both schools have to offer and don't base it on taking extra dance classes that you might not have the time or the money for. You will be getting dance classes at school which ever way you decide.
