For UT Austin, are you in the top 7% of your class? If so, then yes. If not, maybe not. For the rest, your GPA is low. You'd have a shot, but not a great one. Fortunately, you can take the premed classes at any 4-year college or university. Also, Rice doesn't give you AP credit, so you might not want to go there. But you can't use AP credit to get out of premed courses anyway.
