In goa in d month f may 2011 which s the best staying place for 6N & 7D?

I am going to Goa in the month of may with my 3 Buddies so i would like to know which would be the best place for staying in Goa for 6 Nights & 7 Days & the cost should not be even high it should be very reasonable & one more important requirement is about the vegetarian food in Goa ??
