How to find out Legitimacy of a college?

Hi im from Goa and currently living in Bangalore.Im planning to Join BBM in Sri Venkateshwara First Grade College which is located in Maruthi Nagar,Madiwala,Bangalore-560068.I wanted to know whether is this college good and its certificate is recognised by Bangalore University.Because I checked in Bangalore University website and this college is not listed there and is there a way to find out this or any colleges legitimacy.Please help
