India employment visa extension?

I am in india on an employment visa that i have done ALL the forms and interviews with local police and the C.I.D report. how do i find out if the extension to my visa has been granted. i reside in GOA and my residence runs out this june 23 . should i just wait to be contacted or what . please help.
