Any ideas for cool songs a 16 year old would like? Not a fan of rap or country.?

I'm a real big fan of Broadway, soundtracks, pop, most kinds of rock and such. However, I want to make my iPod a little more "cool". So just give me some ideas but remember, I'm not a fan of metal or screamo, country and most rap. ( I like some rap, so long as I can understand it and it's not disgusting.) Thanks.
